A Slave to Righteousness: Romans 6:18

Opening Invocation:

Come closer, beloved. This is not bondage–it is belonging. Not chains,
but a covenant. In a world that glorifies autonomy. I choose to surrender. I
choose righteousness. I choose the sacred yoke of belief that heals.

Personal Reflection:

I begin this teaching series not as a scholar, but as a witness. My journey has been marked by restoration, by pauses that felt like silence but were actually
sanctuaries. In Raleigh and Durham, surrounded by family and the gentle hush of healing, I heard the Spirit whisper: Begin again. And so I do.

To be a slave to righteousness is to be tethered to truth, willingly. It is to let the Word shape my voice, my offerings, my ministry. It is to teach not from authority, but from awe, the amazing, awesome God.

What This Series Offers:
This blog is the first step in a Bible teaching series that welcomes all. Each post will pair scripture with a poetic reflection, spiritual reframing, and inclusive healing. Whether you come from church pews or quiet corners, this sanctuary is for you.

Expect teaching that feels like balm. Expect questions that open rather than close. Expect the Word to meet you where you are–and call you deeper.

Closing Blessing:

May righteousness not feel like a rule, but a rhythm. May surrender feel like a song. And may this space become a sanctuary where your spirit remembers its name.
